Focusing on the family experience in the NICU.
Parents in the NICU often navigate a large amount of information, and the Smart Hospital Project has developed a Smart Dashboard to present this information in a clearer, more accessible way. The dashboard includes a dedicated Parents View that displays vital sign trends, milestones, care plans, and educational resources in a simple, calm, and user-friendly format.
This study will evaluate the usability of the Parents View through a combination of questionnaires, user-experience tools, and interviews. Key measures include ease of use, satisfaction, usefulness, learnability, and interface design. Findings from this pilot will help refine the dashboard and guide its further development for NICU families.
